A few useful answers
No. SSDs, filesystem snapshots, backups, and cloud copies can retain data beyond a file operation’s reach. Overwriting a file does not establish that every previous physical copy has been erased. Review your storage and the scope of the operation before relying on a result.
Ruption AI File Shredder is listed on the Mac App Store for macOS 12 or later. Data Guard and Scam Shield are planned; Business Check is exploratory. We have not announced public Windows or Linux downloads on this page.
